What do you actually want?
Not the safe answer. Not the realistic one. The real one. The thing you think about when nobody’s asking.
Take a second.
Because between you and me, can you get there on mindset alone? Probably not. But without it, you’re not getting anywhere either. So let’s talk about what mindset actually did for two people who started with nothing.
Before the world knew him as a legend, he was a kid growing up between poverty, violence and rejection. Bullied. Felt small. Looking for a way to prove himself. Where others saw problems, he slowly started seeing possibilities. His mindset shifted from victim to fighter. Not metaphorically. Literally. And that shift carried him further than anyone around him ever predicted.
He became the youngest heavyweight champion in boxing history at twenty years old. People who have never watched a single boxing match know his name. Decades later, many still consider him the greatest of all time.
Mike Tyson.
Then there’s a guy who was told he was too small, too slow, not built for the highest level of the sport he loved most.
He kept working. He kept believing the shot was going in before he released it. He didn’t just make it to the top, he changed what the top looked like. An entire generation of basketball players now attempts shots that were considered reckless before he made them normal. Four championships. Arguably the greatest shooter in the history of the sport.
Steph Curry.
Two completely different people. Two completely different paths.
One thing in common.
You already know what it is.
Mindset over everything. Feed it. Use it. The rest will follow.
